Seven pieces of photography by Liberty High School Students were selected for the Mill Street Loft’s twelfth annual national juried high school photography exhibition, Exposure.
“Being a part of Exposure is a huge recognition to student artists, Liberty High School Art Teacher Mrs. Kathy Lambert said. “We [the school] are going to be represented in 10% of the 70 works chosen.”
Hundreds of students from New York State submit their works to the Mill Street Loft in hopes of being featured in the exhibit.
A number of cash and other prizes will be awarded to participants who “demonstrate exceptional ability, originality, mastery of the medium and/or creativity as determined by the jury of professional photographers,” according to the Mill Street Loft website.
The twelfth annual Exposure National High School Photography Exhibition will be on display from March 15-April 11 at the Mill Street Loft (45 Pershing Ave. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
The opening night reception will be held at the Mill Street Loft on Sunday, March 15 from 5-7 p.m.
