Sullivan County student-musicians take advantage of yearly clinic/performance opportunity; music and jazz lovers: don't miss these very talented kids!
Jan. 28, 2014 - The Liberty Central School Department of Music will host the 18th Annual LIBERTY JAZZ FESTIVAL on Saturday, February 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Middle School gymnasium (snow date is February 8th).
The festival will feature High School and Middle School jazz ensembles from Liberty and Monticello.
This year’s clinician, CHRISTOPHER BRELLOCHS (saxophonist, composer and conductor), has performed throughout the New York City metropolitan area including venues such as Birdland, 55 Bar, Cornelia Street Café, Smoke, and Cecil’s, as well as abroad playing in Cologne, Trier, and Karlsruhe, Germany. The clinic will take place from 3 - 5 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m. in the Liberty Middle School gymnasium. Admission for the event is $3, with the maximum price for a family of four or more capped at $15. Tickets will be on sale at the door.
