On Saturday, November 5th, bring the kids out for a morning of fun and exercise! The First Annual Turkey Trot will begin at 9 a.m. at the Liberty High School Track. The race is organized by the Liberty High School SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) will take place rain or shine.
To enter, simply bring one canned good as a donation, and take a run with Tom the Turkey! Prizes will be awarded, but everyone is a winner for helping to take a bite out of hunger!
All canned goods will be used in the Thanksgiving gift baskets that are distributed to needy families in Liberty. If you would like to contribute to the holiday food drive please contact Ms. Sally Forbidussi at 845-292-5400 ext. 4105 or email her at sforbidussi@libertyk12.org for more information.
