tabs box bottom border

Liberty students, faculty and staff are participating in a number of different drives to help those in need during holiday season. The LCSD community is also welcome to donate items! Below is a list and contact information.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOOD DRIVE:
Now through the end of December, non-perishable food items are being collected for local food pantries. Please call 845-292-5400 ext. 2030 for drop off and other information.

ANIMAL SHELTER DRIVE:
Mrs. Warren's second grade class is collecting items for the Rock Hill SPCA instead of exchanging gifts. From now until December 22, the class will be collecting donations of dog food & cat food (both wet and dry), brushes, cat litter, blankets, newspapers, towels, laundry detergent, latex gloves, dish soap, floor cleaner, collars and halters, double-sided cat bowls, durable pet toys, strong leashes, clorox disinfecting wipes and raw hide bones/ pig ears. Please call 845-292-5400 ext. 3114 for drop off and other information.

BOTTLE CAPS FOR CANCER:
The Liberty boys and girls basketball programs are collecting plastic bottle caps to help provide chemotherapy for cancer patients. For every 3,000 caps collected, Catskill Regional Medical Center will provide three free chemo treatment sessions. Any plastic bottle cap can be donated - Gatorade, soda, water, etc. - and can be dropped off at the high school office, or in the collection bucket in the high school weight room. Please contact Jason Semo at (845)292-5400 ext. 2013 or jsemo@libertyk12.org or Ryan Baldock at ext. 2014 or rbaldock@libertyk12.org.
