Thunder Slam rolls in to Liberty High School

Principal Jack Strassman makes his wrestling debut

Professional wrestling comes to Liberty High School on Saturday, October 2 when Thunder 102 FM presents Thunder Slam! The show starts at 7:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium and tickets are still available.

You won't want to miss Liberty High School Principal Jack Strassman make his pro wrestling debut when he takes part in a six-man tag team wrestling match. "When I graduated college, I dreamed of being a professional wrestler. After three decades I'm finally getting the opportunity," says Jack "The Regulator" Strassman. "All I have to say is watch out!"

The event is sponsored by Thunder 102 FM and will benefit the MAFCO of Sullivan County and the Liberty Booster Club. The evening will feature such notable wrestlers as George "the Animal" Steele, Jerry "the King" Lawler, Carlito and Tommy Dreamer. Hardcore lady wrestlers include Awesome Kong and Mickie James.
