Move over Glee! This Friday, April 29, Liberty High School will be
the hub of harmonic energy as the Liberty Music Department presents
the Second Annual Liberty A Cappella Festival.
This free concert begins at 7 p.m. and features five performing
groups from around the region including Liberty High
School’s Essential Blend, Eldred Central School’s Key Elements,
Monticello High School’s Chamber Singers, Roscoe Central School’s
Roscappella and Newfield High School’s Rhapsody in Pink.
“The show will have something for everyone,” says organizer and
Liberty Music Teacher Scott Glasser. “Shows like Glee and
The Sing Off have helped to propel this style of music into
the mainstream, and we are really looking forward to showcasing the
amazing talent of our local performers.”
