The Liberty CSD Wall of Fame, located in the lobby of the David E. Panebaker Auditorium at Liberty High School, will soon showcase the seven inductee plaques for the inaugural class.
On June 25, Liberty Central School welcomes a new class to the halls
of the high school - the inaugural class of the Liberty Wall of
Fame.
The Wall was created and developed by the Board of Education as a
way to honor Liberty alumni, past employees and community members
who have made a lasting and outstanding contribution to Liberty
Central School and
to the Liberty community.
Altogether, 16 nominations for the Wall of Fame were submitted on
behalf of potential candidates. This year’s class of seven inductees
was selected by the 2011 Wall of Fame Committee, a group that
included community members, alumni, faculty, district administration
and Board of Education members. After an extensive review process,
the committee narrowed the field of inaugural inductees to seven
individuals.
The inductees will be honored at a breakfast reception on graduation
day and will also be recognized at the graduation ceremony. The Wall
of Fame is located in the lobby of the David E. Panebaker Auditorium
at Liberty High School, and plaques honoring the inductees will be
mounted there. Additional information about the honorees and the
Wall of Fame will be available on the Liberty Web site,
www.libertyk12.org.
