2011-12 Pre-K Registration Scheduled for March 14-April 8

Pre-K registration for the 2011-12 school year will take place between Monday, March 14 and Tuesday, April 8 at the Liberty Elementary School. Registration is by APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Required documents and criteria to register your student include:

- application (available during appointment)

- student's birth certificate

- immunization records (including lead test)

- proof of residency (e.g. electric or other utility bill)

- record of recent physical exam and dental exam

- social security card (of student) and parent identification (e.g. driver's license, passport)

- custody papers (if applicable)

The Liberty Pre-K program can accommodate up to 72 students. If 72 students or less are registered by April 8, then all students will be enrolled in the 2011-12 Pre-K program. Should more than 72 students register by April 8, a lottery will take place, and students will be selected by random drawing.

Parents will be informed by the end of the week of April 14 as to whether their child will be enrolled in the 2011-12 Liberty Pre-K program. A waiting list will be established for those not selected for the 72 slots, and will go in the order in which names are drawn, should an opening become available.
