Liberty parents invited to attend free Eat Smart New York series

LES/Parent CONNECT and Cornell Cooperative Extension are teaming up to bring the Eat Smart NY program to our families.

Eat Smart New York’s main goals are to help participants make their food dollar last longer, encourage the consumption of more fruits and vegetables and safe food handling.

This FREE series will be held Tuesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m. at Liberty Elementary School. Program dates are 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15. Snow dates will be the day after each scheduled class.

There will be refreshments and prizes at each session and topics include: nutrition, meal planning, smart food shopping, cooking, food safety, fitness and more.
