The scholarships below are separated by the month of the deadline for the application. Check each scholarship to see if you qualify and be sure to complete the application by the appropriate deadline.

NYSASBO Scholarship - This $500 scholarship is given by the New York State Association of School Business Officials to a student who is pursuing a degree in business, finance or education.

Ned Carter Scholarship - This scholarship is given by Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York to a student who is entering into a career of service to the community (fire service,emergency medical technician, paramedic, nursing, social worker, health related services, teaching, etc.) Look for further details in Guidance.
Cristin Ann Bambino Memorial Scholarship - The applicant must write an essay on their accomplishments and give an example of how they overcame their challenges. The essay should also explain how they can serve as a role model for other young people with special challenges and what they will study in college.
Joseph Goncalves Student Humanitarian - The applicant must write an essay describing their experience serving others during their high school careers and how that service has benefited others. The essay should describe what the experience has personally meant to the applicant and may include inspirational role models.
Paul Jensen Memorial Scholarship - The applicant must write an essay based on a way they would design an existing design for a specific purpose. The essay should describe how this design could be accomplished and why this design would be unique.
American Society of Civil Engineers (Mohawk-Hudson) - A $1000 a year award for 4 years to an applicant who is a senior seeking to continue their education with the goal of becoming a practicing civil engineer.
Amy Bindelglass Memorial Scholarship - The award is given by the Center for Donation and Transplant to an applicant who can develop a marketing campaign to recruit students to join a “Donate Life Club”. The club's purpose is to raise awareness about donations and encourage student to enroll in the registry. See details in guidance.

SWANA ScholarshipApplicants shall present an innovative sustainability initiative which works toward a zero waste future and provide a plan for implementing the idea in their community. The maximum award is $3000. See the PDF above for more information.
Delta Kappa Gamma Society TAU Memorial Grants-in-Aid Award - The applicant must be female and planning on the teaching profession, have already been accepted in a college and in the upper half of your class rank. Please pick up applications or additional material in the Guidance Office.
CSEA Southern Region Local 1000 - The applicant must be graduating in June 2017 and entering college, a vocational or trade school. The applicant must have a parent or guardian who is a member of CSEA (Civil Service Employee) of Orange County Local 7900/7902.
Louis B. Scheinmann Memorial Scholarship Fund - The applicant must be graduating in June 2017 and have a financial need. The applicant must exemplify compassion, warmth, friendship and a natural inclination to see the best in people. The applicant must be an eager and inquisitive student.
Jacob E. Gunther III Memorial Scholarship - The applicant must exhibit academic achievement, community service and financial need. They must also show an acceptance to an accredited college or university to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.
Liberty Elementary PTA Scholarship - Liberty Elementary PTA will award 2 scholarships in the amount of $500 each to graduating seniors. The scholarship may be used toward tuition, fees, or books. Please see the accompanying PDF for the application which lists all requirements.
Sons of Veterans of Civil War - This award is based on high academic achievement, a record of good performance in school and on community activities. The applicant us show an interest in the heritage of the United States and must present a letter of recommendation from school counselor or teacher. The applicant must also write a 500 word essay on a subject listed on application.

Liberty Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary - The applicant must reside in Liberty Joint Fire District, and be entering a college, university or vocational school. They must be proven to be dependable, reliable and conscientious in carrying out their duty to the school and community.
Sullivan County Bar Association - IRA J COHEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - Two $750 scholarships will be awarded to Seniors attending college in the fall with an anticipated career in public service or law.
Sullivan County Trails Association - The applicant must have a parent or guardian who is a member in good standing of the Sullivan County Trails Association and will be majoring in a conservation/environmental related field of study.
Worden Family Memorial Scholarship - The applicant must live in the White Sulphur Springs Fire District. Determination and award amounts will be made based on the extent of the applicant's volunteerism. This is for young people who give back to the community.
Federation of Sportsmen’s Club Of Sullivan County - The applicant must be a member of or have a family member who is a member of the Federation of Sportsmen’s Club. They must have a 3.0 or 85 average, support the preservation of the hunting and fishing traditions, be involved in school activities. Come to Guidance for further details.
Brian Ingber Memorial Foundation - The applicant must be a Sullivan County resident and exemplify the ideals of volunteerism, service within the school and community. They must be of good moral and ethical character and be a well-rounded student. Students must be seeking employment that demonstrates commitment to community service or studying a field that will result in improving the quality of life in their community.
Devoe-ted To A Cure - The applicant must be graduating from a Sullivan County High School and must have maintained a 3.0 average over the last two years. They must be in good civil standing with the law. The applicant must be enrolled in a college of veterinary medicine and have been involved in community service with an animal rescue shelter, veterinarian office or animal caregiver.
Liberty Christian College Scholarship - The applicant must be enrolled in a Christian college or university next fall. They must show consistent academic effort and Christian values and morals.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship - The applicant must write an essay on a topic that appear on the scholarship page of the website. Full details are available on the website.
